How Fast Does an Argo Go?

Generally, Argo 8x8 models will achieve a top speed of between 18-20 mph. Argo 6x6 models are a little quicker and will generally achieve a top speed of between 20-23 mph. It is important to remember that the load on your vehicle and the terrain you are travelling on will impact the speed of your Argo XTV. A fully loaded XTV going through tough terrain will be slower than one person on an XTV in clear terrain.

Is an Argo Fast on Water?

Argo XTVs offer incredible versatility by being amphibious and taking you from anywhere you need to go from land to water. Though Argos are fairly quick on land, in water they are quite a bit slower. You can expect a top speed of 2.5-3 mph in water. If you need to travel more extensively on water, you may choose to use an outboard motor of up to 9.9 hp.

What Fuel Does An Argo Take?

All Argo XTV models use regular unleaded gasoline. Argo does not make diesel XTVs. Always ensure that Your Argo is fueled before starting a journey and understand that different terrains will affect the fuel efficiency of your Argo. For long trips, you will need to bring fuel with you.
